Solidarity with Rossport

Protestors carried out some action on Monday 20th November at a Shell petrol station in Five Ways, Birmingham. Protestors blocked off the petrol station for three hours out of solidarity with the people of Ireland, Mayo, Rossport against Shells gas pipeline which continues to threaten the environment and the people of Rossport. Shell is known for its carelessness and disregard for the environment as can be seen with its action in Nigeria.

Three protesters participated in a lock in, but surprisingly no arrests were made and the protest ended peacefully.

Watch the video, a better edited one will be up soon.

good protest, well done. I'm not to sure about the editing though. I will wait and see the 'better edited' one.

I second that notion, but i think a few words of critcism are in order for the atrocious camera work. Absolutely dreadful. The camera man seems to be suffering from Cronic Shakey Syndrome (CSS), a most unpleasant of conditions. All in all a good protest though, it was great to see people "standing up" and taking active "steps" against those Bum's at Shell.

Guerilla, that's awesome. Look forward to the polished version. A good record of a memorable action though. Let's make sure that it becomes just one of many.
